Wickedywitch poetry – Autumn Glory

Autumn Glory

I stand and gaze with wonder
At the beauty of autumn store
The gold’s and browns blended
Throughout the countryside

The colours of the sky in it’s sunrise
Peaking golden rays blinding to the eyes
The scattering of pastel shades
Washed over the sky canapés

As winter draws in
She feasts us in autumn colours
Ready for the stark beauty
Of winters white and frosty
